There was a time back in 2008 when the Silverlake and Venice locations may have been home to the most hipster customer base on the planet. Thank God that phase of double decker bicycles, suspenders, overly large sunglasses and Bermuda shorty shorts has come to an end. But that doesn’t mean the Venice location has stopped brewing straight up legit coffee. Here are the list of drinks they nail(for me at least) cappuccino, cortado, mocha, iced mocha and matcha latte. The vibe at this location is very chill and inviting. Do yourself a favor and get in there.
Not really my cup of tea, but they must be doing something right because they need more space. The service was a bit confusing, and there was a line stretching out to the sidewalk on a Tuesday afternoon. The seating arrangements were eclectic, but the large number of customers made the atmosphere feel cramped. I wasn't a fan of the carbonated water mixed with coffee or the tart cherry coffee flavors. However, the barista did an excellent job with my wife's latte, and the latte art in the cream was impressive.
Good spot to work remotely. One time I had a splinter in my croissant it was nearly cutting my mouth because of the mistake of the waitress forgetting I told it to her and she did not care!

My favorite coffee shop in LA. While I've had better coffee elsewhere, there's something about Intelligentsia on Abbott Kinney that keeps me coming back.
The coffee here is incredibly delicious and bursting with flavor, crafted with love and attention. It reminds me of the coffee I would find in Europe.
Great place and one of the best coffee in the area. Coffee is still not as good as in Europe, but better than in most other coffee shops.
