And yes, they sort of throw things down on table rather than place them down.Tables were sticky, but floors were reasonably clean.Food took a while to come out.After ordering several dishes, amongst which were char kuey teow, hor fun seafood, chicken curry, beef rendang, fish noodles.Every single dish had flaws in them. Ordered fried Koay Teowand Inchi Karbin which is fried chicken Ipoh style. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Definitely recommend Inchi Karbin which was a delight and perhaps Ipoh Kai Si Hor Fun, which is Ipoh Chicken soup boiled in prawn shells. Oh course the Hor Fun does not fully taste like the ones served in Kong Heng Coffee Shop, Ipoh Malaysia but probably best in Perth. My husband as an Ipoh old boy can certainly certify to that.
My wife and I went to Ipoh last night (19/01/17) with another couple.The service was excellent. Our waitress took plenty of time to ensure our meals were exactly what we wanted. One of our party is gluten intolerant and Ipoh had several options for this.My Ichikabin Chicken was delicious as was the Ipoh Hor Fun and Char Kway Teow.Also enjoyable was Beef Rendang Fried Meehoon.Great sauces and service.
We were really impressed with the quality, portion size and the efficient service. We went down looking to have Japanese for lunch but decided to give Malaysian a try- ended up being a very good decision. Everything we viewed that went from kitchen to table looked great, so we are looking forward to getting back a sampling the rest of the extensive menu.

A place for family and friends, warm lightings and clean environment. Family dinner or a quick catchup with friends, friendly staffs and efficient services. Food is authentic and try the Beef Rendang if possible, with their homemade Herbal tea. Parkings are available. Pricing is fair, portion is large for some dishes.
Family run place - kids on the floor really quick and friendly - enjoyed the hor fun while the chicken rice was debatable in its authenticity - but that's another tale ..Really great value for money not fancy but just good for a meal any time and the hungrier you are the better their portions are pretty generous
This place is a little hit and miss. Haivng patronised here for a whiel now, I stick to those I know and like. Char Kway Teow, Fish Noodle Soup and Ichiban Chicken are worth parting with your well earned cash. Others are possibly above average hence why the reviews are mixed.
Great food but most dishes are a little too salty for my liking. Would recommend that they put less salt/soy sauce when they cook and put a bottle of soy sauce/salt on the table for customers to add if not salty enough.

They now serve pork trotter vinegar, and it's absolutely delicious! It's been on the menu for a while, but I overlooked it because it's located on the first few pages without any pictures.
if youre needing a good feed for mamak mee this is the place to go. the rest of their dishes is pretty average but better than a lot of Malaysian restaurants here in perth
