Iqbal's Hot Food Takeaway

I tried Iqbal's tonight, the only place that looked decent on Uber Eats. It was a bit pricier than other local takeout options, but the food arrived quickly and was still hot. I ordered the keema kebab, which was absolutely delicious and tasted very fresh, like a homemade meal. It came on a naan bread with salad and yogurt, with minimal grease - I was able to eat the entire naan without it being soaked in grease. I had a curry from this restaurant a few months ago and it was delicious, so I decided to give it another try. I ordered a lamb Bhuna with rice, chips, roti, and a lamb chop starter. Unfortunately, the chops were overcooked and tough to chew. The lamb in the curry was fatty and tasted like mutton, more like a stew meat. Overall, I was disappointed with the lack of flavor. The chips were also undercooked. I usually don't complain, but tonight I felt it necessary. I have never been able to find a good Indian takeaway in Bolton that serves authentic food. The restaurant offered to replace the curry, but I declined. I will continue my search for a better option.

I have ordered here for the first and last time ever. The order came late they said 45 mins and I took 1hr and 10mins. The food was uncooked and cold, they have on menu kebabs but they sell curries instead, their nannbread is precooked and then just warmed that tasted like a chewing gum. I have ordered for a family of 4 and we all couldn’t eat so we have wasted £26. On the phone they gave me different price and then driver said £4 more expensive. When I rang them and asked for the receipt they said we will give it next time not even apologised or anything. Will never order again

We were struggling for an Indian takeaway so asked a friend for a recommendation. This was the first name he came up with and we weren’t disappointed. Ordering was easy from just eat and the delivery arrived within one minute of the time specified! Food was of a very high class and it is a place we will be using regularly now. The lamb on the bone had also been recommended by my friend and this was the best dish of the three. I love my curries this place had been recommended by a couple of people. Decided on a takeaway. Large Chicken Jalfrazi, pillau rice nan . £11: 60p Came with poppadums, salad dips. The curry was enough for 2, fantastic flavour, full of spices the kind of heat I like, it creeps up on you. Great service food. Cafe style but clean. Small menu. We will certainly be back.

This restaurant is definitely the top curry spot in Bolton! I have ordered from here over 30 times and it never fails to impress. It has a traditional family atmosphere and is made with genuine passion.

Ordered tikka masalla and chips. Was the smallest portion of tikka I've ever had. Chips were dry. Cost me 8.70 would not recommend. Wouldn't go again
