This restaurant was conveniently located near our hotel, so we decided to give it a try based on its good rating. We ordered the fish and chips with sweet potato fries and a lemon blueberry splash. Unfortunately, the drink was so watered down that it barely tasted like it contained any alcohol. The fish and chips were overcooked, making them inedible. As for the sweet potato fries, they were just crumbs from the bottom of the bag and had a burnt flavor. I’m not sure if we just picked a bad night to visit, but overall, it was quite disappointing.
**Service:** I visited on a Saturday night when there was a pleasant crowd. Upon entering, I was greeted and told to choose my own seat. Unfortunately, there was about a 10-minute wait before the waiter could come to my table, as they were managing multiple stations alone. My son chose this place to watch his Premiere League FOOTBALL game with his local chapter of Spurs fans. The atmosphere was supercharged, and standing room only by the noon start time. We arrived early and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast omlette. 3 hours later, we were enjoying a penne pasta dish with grilled chicken and alfredo sauce. Both meals were delicious and reasonably priced. The service was great, as we took our seats at the bar.
The Irish pub located on the outskirts of Chinatown offers Trivia nights on Tuesdays, and possibly on other days as well. I can't comment much on their food since I only sampled a few appetizers. The service was incredibly fast, and the staff were friendly and cheerful. The restaurant is spacious and well-lit, making for a comfortable atmosphere. There are plenty of screens to catch the game, and the food portions are generous. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience.
Service was okay. But the food left a lot to be desired. The Shepard's pie tasted like it had been left out for hours but the peas were under done. The corned beef was dry and cabbage not fully cooked. Maybe it was since it's towards the end of day.
Great little bar! It’s not too large and had a relaxed atmosphere when I visited on a Friday afternoon. They were showing rugby on the TV, which was a nice touch. The staff were friendly, and the service was quick for drinks.
