We sat in the back room which was a little more private than the main area. Our server provided good service. I like the large water bottles they leave at your table. One glass of water is never enough for me. My panzanella salad was our first appetizer. With squash, blue cheese, walnuts and a shallot vinaigrette. I enjoyed all those elements, but the dressing was subtle. Also, the salad would have benefited from a leafy green. Their was also croutons that were not very crisp. Our other appetizer was the crispy brussel sprouts. They were drenched in dressing, so they didn 't approach crispy. They weren 't bad, just please describe them correctly. Ambiance 10/10. Service 6/10. Food 6.5/10. Because the ambiance for dinner is dark and moody, it's hard to see your food. Usually not a problem except when you order a medium rare steak and it comes out blue. The most expensive entree on the menu. Which wasn't cooked enough. Disappointing. Then I'm offered a free entree coupon for our NEXT visit by the manager. Why would I come back when we paid full price for my undercooked meal? The crème brûlée is amazing it's a shame other items we ordered weren't. The sides were great! Been here a few times and the service has gotten progressively worse The service was lacking the last time here and we were constantly looking for our waitress/server.
Iron Bridge is a great place. The main bar room is warmer and more buzzing than the side room. The bar centers the room, and is surrounded by tables, and the walls are lined with bottles of wine. Food was good, though we just split appetizers. The mussels were great, the spinach salad was good though maybe a bit overdressed, and the calamari was great but maybe could have used a second dipping sauce a little more imaginative than tartar sauce. Service was friendly. Extensive cocktail list and lots of wines by the glass. Easy parking in a lot outside. Comfortable place, good comfort food!
My wife and I were celebrating our 22nd Anniversary. Iron Bridge recognized the occasion with a card and beverage. Kevin our waiter was knowledgeable and timely. The Tempranillo from the large wine selection was delicious. And the food was fantastic. Pork Bellies for an appetizer, I got a Rib Eye and my wife the Special, a Red Snapper dish, all top notch, as were the deserts. A five star dining experience! It was our 1st time visiting Iron Bridge in 7 years, we certainly wont wait so long to go back!

This restaurant had its ups and downs over 20 years that we live in the area. A year and a half ago it definitely was their down period. Yesterday we decided to give them another chance, and WOW, it was amazing! Food was beyond delicious, service was beyond great. We left smiling. Thank you guys. We will keep coming back in a hope that this UP period will last.
We had the fish of the day which was grouper. Grouper is a fish more commonly found in Florida, so I should have known better than to order it. It definitely wasn't fresh--had an unpleasant acidic taste. This is probably the worst main plate I have experienced in the 20 years I have been going to Iron Bridge. My partner said the steak was just average.
We enjoyed a delightful, creatively presented meal. Tuna tartare was unique and delicious. The fish of the moment was sumptuous and bountiful, and the Peruvian chicken was a fresh, new creation. Matt made delicious cocktails and provided personable, attentive service.
Such a cute quaint place. Out of the way and off the beaten path. A wonderful assortment of wines and spirits. I had fish for lunch but the Bourbon Peach Upside Down Cake was fabulous!!!! Check them out if you are in the Columbia Md area.

Loved it! Been coming here for almost 20yr shortly after they first opened and it’s always been great never had a subpar experience. Great job once again!
