The Iron Duke has improved out of sight over the past year or so. The staff are really friendly, and the kitchen churns out some of the best steaks on Waterloo! Starters are decent (Sau Bao is some of the best food I’ve tasted at a pub in ages), and the beer plentiful. Weirdly, the atmosphere around the pool table is my favourite place for a game I don’t know why but there’s something about it that is just FUN. Iron Duke also has dog friendly space in the beer garden, which makes it an all round winner in my book.
A spacious pub which has outdoor seating. A pub where you can relax and spend a nice evening without a lot of noise. Really close to the Redfern station but there’s street parking around that area. We were there on a Monday evening so it was a bit quiet but the food was tasty, and my cocktail, a Lemon Myrtle Margarita was yummy. A local pub you’d love to visit
Barramundi meal was perfectly cooked juicy on the inside and super crispy skin, with delicious vegetables and pea puree. Generous portion for $35, and everyone we dined with really happy with the quality of the food. Great experience will definitely recommend.
large local pub with handicrafted beer options, good eating and a beer garden (half covered) it has this old school wooden furniture but with a modern menu and beer. definitely a pleasant surprise and a great local!

Good quality of food. Clean environment. I must admit they make the best Linguine a menu here is changed quite often. I hope they keep Linguine... Please
The courtyard alone makes this place worth visiting! Can't think of a better place to be on a nice, sunny day. Great tap list and food menu too!
Absolute cracker of a local pub, great selection of craft beer, excellent Piña colada and the best Thursday night burger anywhere
Very nice hotel with great taps, wine list and food. Large beer garden is dog friendly. Will absolutely come back

Another great pup friendly garden. Great quick service, lamb shoulder ragout was really nice.
Good burger, average chicken Wings, great stand up comedy shows.
