Finding a restaurant that can accommodate 16 people for a New Year's Eve dinner can be quite a challenge, but Iron Rail Tavern made it effortless for us! From the moment we arrived until our entire group left, the staff was professional, personable, and friendly. It's a bit unusual for me to still be thinking about the dressing that accompanied my spinach salad and the green chile that elevated my breakfast, but honestly, they're both incredible and made from scratch at IRT using their own recipes. The homemade potato chips are fantastic, and the chicken wings are perfectly crispy. Everything I tried there was delicious, and I really appreciate the rustic ambiance with its railway theme. The beer taps are handcrafted, just like the door handles, and there are vintage black-and-white photos of trains adorning the walls. The staff are all friendly and attentive, and the owner is a lively and passionate food enthusiast. I absolutely love this restaurant...
The food here is absolutely amazing! It's a perfect spot to unwind, enjoy a meal, and catch up with friends—or just grab a beer. The handmade chips are a real treat! I've tried the fish and chips and the French dip sandwich, both of which I will definitely order again. The fries are fantastic, too. And I can't forget to mention the delicious cake for dessert! The baked ricotta is simply to die for! I’m so glad to have such a wonderful place in my neighborhood.
We came today with a group of 15 adults and 3 children in the high chair. The service was great and the food was phenomenal. Every single thing I tried (and I tasted several dishes! was great. The green Chile was so good, the beer cheese sauce was great, the homemade cheese filled bags were so delicious, and the smoked wings were amazing. And the Mac n cheese! That's perfect. We Walked into the establishment expecting something MUCH different. Which is a reminder that you never judge a book by its cover. We discovered an amazing ambiance, staff, libations, and food that would impress even harshest critic. New York Strip, potatoes, and Brussels sprouts cooked to perfection! The blackened chicken mac cheese was very tasty, if it came with a small side salad it'd be perfect. Hubby said the Reuben was the best he's ever had. Friends rib eye steak was exactly how he likes it. A nice relaxing atmosphere with railroad decor makes it a great place to go to eat and unwind. Looking forward to our next visit.
We always stop here and visit for work trips. The staff is friendly and usually remembers us! The menu is out of this world! Love that it's scratch menu! Cool highlight to the bar is the Jack Daniels on tap... it's incredibly smooth. Love it here!
