Ironwood Kitchen Cocktails

It would be nice if there was at least one vegetarian appetizer. We had to order a side as a starter: spicy brussel sprouts. They were sweet, charred and the perfect amount of spicy for me. Less sauce would be better, so I could taste the veg a little more: Ordered the only vegetarian entree: eggplant cannelloni. The eggplant was thinly sliced, acting as the “roll”, instead of the filling. The texture was tough, making it less enjoyable and harder to eat. Concept is cool, but the eggplant should be the soft filling! Then maybe Zucchini or pasta as the roll, would work better. Also ordered the red snapper special. The risotto and the fish were wonderful. The crawfish that topped the dish smel...

Food was delicious. Service was not on par with the price. My dinner companion’s meal was overbooked (ordered rare, got med-well). I received my salsas with his entree, followed by my entree two minutes later, then the appetizer 5 minutes later. Drinks were good but the waiter was not attentive and I’d have liked a second drink.
