Just had the most outstanding meal by pure accident at Rochford Wines. Driving past and starving with the kids having been unable to find anywhere to eat in Healesville we managed to get a table. The service here is so friendly, attentive and genuine particularly with young kids even on a stupidly busy Saturday afternoon. They made an effort to get the kids food out quickly and my lamb Osso Bucco was the most amazing dish I’ve had in a long time. Hubby had the duck pastrami tart which he loved. Would absolutely return here without a second thought and highly recommend!! Thanks for looking after us today :
We made a last minute booking for lunch at Isabella's at Rochford on Wednesday night for the next day. The booking was quickly confirmed and driving into Rochford was easy. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and genuine, seating us by the window with a great view. We started with the antipasto for two, which had the perfect amount of food. My partner loved the wagyu and I thoroughly enjoyed the perfectly cooked and generous serving of lamb. The staff made excellent recommendations and timed our meals perfectly. We highly recommend Isabella's at Rochford for a casual yet classy dining experience.
First time here and loved it. It was a chilly day and we had a nice fire burning to give a cosy feeling. Also nice views over the vines. The staff were personable and really helpful. The food was very tasty and nicely presented. We had the croquettes and the terrine for entree and I still cannot decide which was better as they were both delicious. Do not miss the crumble it was not too sweet and perfect to share if you have indulged on the other courses.
Went for lunch on a Friday and had the most wonderful time. The winery is certainly boutique and the staff behind their tasting bar/cellar door knew all about their products. There’s a good selection of wines available, and they aren’t too expensive. The lunch menu offers a generous amount of choices; starters, medium, large, enormous and sweets. I went to this winery for lunch and a wine tasting. The restaurant offers seating both indoors and outdoors with beautiful views of the hills and fields. We ordered the truffle and mozzarella croquette and the smoked ox tongue for our starters, both of which were decent. The waitress suggested the beef for our main course and it was really good. It was incredibly tender and flavorful, and I also would highly recommend it.
This place serves great quality food that doesn't fail to complement their wines. Each dish is well presented and is cooked to near-perfection, but lacks a certain wow-factor. The coffee is a little inconsistent. The staff here are exceptionally friendly and the place has a really great sophisticated yet relaxing vibe to it, as customers dine and drink while surrounded by a beautiful vineyard and landscape.
Rochford is a large winery in the Yarra Valley that takes great pride in the wines they make. The service is passionate and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting, which within seconds it was clear that they love what they do! We had a cheeseboard at the outdoor decking which was gorgeous on a beautiful day! We can’t wait to go back to try more of their food and of course, to drink more wine!
We adore Rochford Estate. The restaurant is stunning, the food is scrumptious, and the staff are incredibly welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed one of the most entertaining wine tastings we've ever had here... if you haven't experienced their wine tastings, you simply must! Visited Rochford Winery with Yarra Valley Wine Tasting Tours for a private wine tasting session and lunch. Ordered the 16 hour oyster blade of beef with macadamia purée, winter mushrooms, pearled barley watercress. The meal was absolutely incredible, and of course, the wines were delicious too!
