Great place to get Hawaiian bbq if you’re in the area! My bf got the chicken pupu, and he loved it. I tried a piece and wish I had gotten it too! Their chicken katsu was the best I’ve ever had! The macaroni is overly peppery, in my opinion. But my bf who loves things to be heavily seasoned really liked it. Beef teriyaki was good but not amazing. It was easy to order. We gave the employee a name and phone number, and they texted when it was ready. The person taking orders had a mask on, but none of the kitchen staff did, but they had the back door open for ventilation. We would eat here again next time we are in the area. Gotta have more chicken pupu!
Island Grinds was great! My wife and I visited here on our honeymoon looking to find some authentic Hawaiian food and this place delivered. The staff were very friendly and the food was amazing. We got the pupu chicken and the katsu chicken. Both were really good! And the Hawaiian Sun drinks and Mac salad on the side made the experience the best meal we?ve had on our honeymoon so far!
Island Grinds is one of my favorite restaurants ever! I can?t get enough of the BBQ Teriyaki Chicken it?s always so perfectly cooked, juicy, with a great smoky flavor. And the Mac salad the absolute best! Great value I would also highly recommend the Chicken Katsu, Teriyaki Beef, and grilled fish. Love the people and the food thanks for all the fabulous meals, Island Grinds team!
Good enough food, but they have a lot of signs that it seems like customers are not welcome. No food! We can refuse the right to serve everyone. No inviting atmosphere.
