I came here during the lunch rush and waited a decent amount of time for my food. I ordered the $5 combo with Kalua pork. When I got my order, I noticed they gave me the wrong drink. I was just thinking maybe they have a cool green colored fruit punch. It was Mountain Dew, which I'm not a fan of, but I was in a hurry to get back to work so I didn't worry about a drink. When I got to the break room at work, I saw the receipt and it was the wrong order completely. I was #43 and they gave me order #44 which was Pupu chicken. great place to get Hawaii-Bbq when they are in the opposite! my bf has the chicken puspu, and he loved him. I tried a piece and wish I got it too! her chicken catsu was the best I ever had! the makkaroni is in my opinion excessively embarrassing. but my bf, who loves the dinge to be strongly fed, really liked it. beef teriyaki was good, but not amazing. it was easy to order. we gave the hired a name and a phone number, and they wrote when it was done. the contractor had a mask, but none of the kitchen forces did, but they had the back door open for ventilation. we would eat here again if we were in the opposite. more chicken pupa!
I’ve been to Island Grinds hundreds of times. Every time I get the pupu chicken and I’m ALWAYS impressed. Tafoula that runs the front is always so nice and even when I call in, she knows my order. She is on top of it! The food is made to order, which means the chicken is always crispy and hot. Island Grinds is my favorite place to go in town. They also give you more food than other island restaurants and for a cheaper price. It’s a family owned restaurant, which makes it even better! I highly recommend trying Island Grinds.
my wife and I visited here on our week of slumber on the look for authentic Hawaiian food and delivered this place. the staff was very friendly and the eating was amazing. we have the Pupu chicken and the Katsu chicken. both were really good! and the Hawaiian sun drinks and the Mac salad on the side made the experience the best meal that we had so far on our slurry weeks! island grinds is one of my favorite restaurants of all time! I can't have enough of the bbq teriyaki chicken it is always so perfectly cooked, juicy, with a great smokey taste. and the Mac salad the absolute best! Greater worth I would also recommend chicken katsu, teriyaki beef, and grilled fish. Love the people and eat thanks for all fabulous meals, island grinds team!
Wow! This is some of the best island food I've ever had! The pork was super juicy and tender and just full of flavor! And my chicken was super tasteful as well! Plus, you get nice portions. If you haven't been here yet please to stop by. The area was clean and the employees were super friendly and truly showed some great customer service.
This place is amazing, it brings back my amazing collage memories . My Dixie College roommate and I would eat here when her family was in town. It was such a treat for us. The shrimp is the best, the Service is warm and feels like home. Can’t wait to bring my family

I highly recommend this restaurant. They have great food and service. There teriyaki sauce is addicting and the chicken is delightful. Even the prices here are great.
