I come to this restaurant a lot cause I love the flavor. But they are so skimpy on food. I paid $31 for the oxtail dinner and a tea with extra gravy. I get home and it’s 4 pieces of oxtails.. one big piece with the biggest bone I ever seen with NO meat on it and 3 little pieces with no meat. I went around 730ish so idk if they gave me the bottom of the pot or what. But it’s insane how I got a bunch of gravy and no meat. When customers spend their hard earned money at your establishment we expect the Quality and the Quantity… I gotta find a new place cause this isn’t the first time but I was pissed off tonight!
Went down to Silver Spring, MD to a restaurant that was closed. Walk down the block was happy to notice Island Cuisine from Woodlawn, MD. Very familiar w/IC n Woodlawn. However the outside serving should be handled differently. Food dishes should be covered to keep nasty flies from landing. This issue may not bother some, but it does others!
I absolutely love this place when I don 't feel like cooking or just in need of good Jamaican Cuisine ???? and they have a great selection from soups,salads, porridge,and amazing true to taste natural juices and pastries for your sweet tooth. I will be back to this place always because the staff was very pleasant also. One Love.

AWESOME! I highly recommend the curry shrimp and curry salmon. They offe mr a choice of either yellow or white rice beans. Their dishes are amble enough to share. If you get a chicken pattie be sure to ask for a freshly baked patty.
The food was really good and the wait wasn't too long. The only negative would be the customer service which wasn't great at all. But other than that the restaurant is clean, the food is good and the location is pretty convenient.

?????? I highly recommend!! Pictured: Cajun salmon and macaroni and cheese. I ordered through uber eats and the food came hot and fresh and omg so good. It makes no sense how good this is.
