I’ve lived in the Gulf region for four years, and I can honestly say this is the first restaurant that truly impressed me with its food. I tried the Jamaican meat pie, a bowl of gumbo, and a sangria. The meat pie is undoubtedly one of the best dishes I've ever tasted; the crust was flaky and buttery, and the filling was bursting with flavor. The accompanying curry dip was also delicious and complemented the pie perfectly. Trust me, just go for the six-piece option because you'll want more. The gumbo was excellent too, with tender meat and well-balanced flavors. The service was quick and efficient. Another visit, and once again, the food was fantastic! We enjoyed the grouper and shrimp basket, as well as the BBQ pork basket. The fries are the best, and the BBQ pork was delicious and moist. They consistently deliver great seafood and everything else we've tried. However, neither of us particularly likes the coleslaw, but that’s just because we prefer a creamy version, and theirs is made with a vinaigrette. There's nothing wrong with it; it's just not to our taste. If you're in town, definitely stop by—you can't go wrong!
Ate here for the first time while on vacation it was right across from my condo . It’s a mediocre place for seafood the shrimp basket was ok but the oyster poboy had only 5 small oysters on it and only a hand full of fries the coleslaw tasted spoiled it’s overpriced for what you get.but the service was good just need to work on the food. I visited the restaurant tonight and found it to be quite busy and understaffed. My friend and I almost left because of this, but the waitress who was on duty was incredibly friendly and cheerful despite the hectic situation. We decided to stay, and I'm glad we did—the food was excellent and well worth the wait. I wish I had caught the waitress's name; she had dark hair and tattoos. We will definitely be returning!
Our server, Lisa, was very nice and accommodating. The burgers were excellent. Hand-made, real cheese. Atmosphere is very casual. Would eat here again.
