Islands West Covina

Normally I would NEVER give a bad review.. but I'm hoping this will help the restaurant. The food was very bland, overcooked and took forever to come out. I have to say, I've eaten at the Islands in Long Beach, and it was AMAZING! So I was reallydisappointed here. Especially because I hyped it up to my family and it was their first time here. They probably won't be back.????I, however, believe in second chances. So I'll try again. If it's better, I'll absolutely change this review. Sorryguys Re review: 12/7/2022 Went for dinner tonight. Today 11/22/22 I was invited to Islands for the first time in West Covina. A group of 17 people. I was excited it smelled delicious as I walked up. So when our planner called to make a reservation the person on the phone said 1st come 1st serve. Sohere we are half the group does not have a table. This is not a good 1st impression. As long as I been sitting out here not oncehas the manager come to see if everything is ok. So this is all I ate. I expect a table to have lunch at a restaurant not achair. And the chair no one provided one of the girls went to grab it. Not sure what the Islands chain has to say about this.This is the West Covina location, located on Barranca Ave.

My first time here and was totally swept away with the amazing service from our server Selena. I have food allergies and she took care of it all, also checked into details, which is amazing and very important when you have food allergies. Now to the restaurant... Very clean and cozy. Easy to place your order by scanning a QR code at the table. We tried two burgers, one with teriyaki/pineapple and one with jalapeño/black pepper covered patty. Pineapple was a bit bland, but the one with jalapeño was amazing. Simply perfect. Try the truffle fries, they are to die for! Over all, a great experience!

Despite having no reservation and two groups of seven people, we were seated within five minutes. The service was great and the staff were on top of refilling drinks. The service was great and we had extra sauces and to go boxes for some of our food. My only complaint would be the lack of paper menus since only one of us were scan the QR code on the table to access the digital menu. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

I was really looking forward to a nice night out to watch the game and enjoy a burger. Service was soooo slow! It really was so bad that everything else was done. Eating slowly came, the order in was slow, it should be called slowly land. I saw more flirting staff than food. I'm not going back to this place.

I recently experienced food poisoning from this restaurant and had a terrible night dealing with it. I will never eat there again. Additionally, I sent an email with my details to the address provided, but it has been almost a week and I still haven't received a response.

Islands has incredible truffle fries. Their burgers are quite tasty. Although I'm not usually a fan of burgers, this is one of the few places I actually enjoy them. The atmosphere is nice as well—it's not overly chaotic. The service during my last visit was excellent.

Stopped in for some Angles V Mets baseball game, had a few beers, burger fries. Great staff and great entertainment.
