Excellent food, helpful staff and top notch overall experience. We came searching for a new vegan option in town. Our kind and professional waitress informed us that most dishes are created ingredient by ingredient at the time of ordering, so most anything could be made vegan friendly. We had phenonmial Khoa Soi and Roasted Eggplant dish served with vegan friendly vegetable Tempura. Often when restaurants have to alter originally recipes to fit dietary needs, quality or flavor is lose. Not in this case, everything was amazing start to finish.
Love Issara's food, cocktails and wine menu. They have creative cocktails and an solid wine list. You can find a beverage to suit your taste. If the food gets too spicy, a thai tea can cool your down! You can choose to do heavy apps or select a wonderful dish to enjoy. The happy hour menu from 4:30 to 6:30 has been a great addition. The restaurant, bar and beautiful atmosphere is one of my Lincoln favorites! Bummed that they are closing on Sunday but the great staff deserves a day off.
The restaurant's menu includes a variety of appetizers, salads, main courses, and desserts. Each main dish is served with rice or noodles. For vegan options, customers can choose to have tofu or vegetables instead of meat, and can request that their dish be prepared without fish sauce. The vegetable and tofu rice dish, as well as the drunken noodles, were both plentiful and delicious. Our server was very attentive. The bar serves wine, cocktails, and beer. Happy hour begins at 4:00.
Amazing Thai food at a completely reasonable price. I had the Drunken Noodles with tofu and a beautiful side salad with their Creamy Carrot dressing. The tofu was perfectly cooked, and the noodles weren't drowning in sauce (which I appreciate). They have an impressive craft cocktail list (some of their ingredients are made in-house) and an extensive beer/wine list. Issara is a great addition to south Lincoln! I would highly recommend this to anyone!

This restaurant is a spin-off of Blue Orchid and specializes in Thai cuisine as well as other Asian dishes. They also offer an impressive selection of creative cocktails and a wide variety of wines from different regions. For those looking to preview the menu in advance, it is recommended to check out their Facebook page as their Twitter and website have not been updated since 2013.
The flavors and combinations at Issara are incredible, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is wonderful. We always enjoy dining here, it's a real treat! Make sure to order the drunken noodles, they're delicious!
I love the Khing of Denmark, my favorite drink at this restaurant. The food is also quite delicious.
The atmosphere is lovely and the food is outstanding. We will definitely return.
