here on a recommendation, but was slightly disappointed. visited the cocktail bar before our meal, but should stay away. the cocktail area is above (without direct access to the restaurant itself). freeze cold and very tired looking, but the cocktails were great....The restaurant itself is very well presented and we chose the special plate (which was as a sharing plate). Although eating was good, we found it a bit overpriced, based on what we got. I couldn't eat the rice that it was so overcooked that you could pick it up in a ball. on this basis, we found it a little underwhelming.
We booked for my brother in laws Birthday , Small party Just people . We ordered the Tomahawk steak as a treat . All was good with the service and presentation , Until we bit into the steak . OMG it was rotten...to the core and possibly up to a week out of date. . My niece was nearly sick at the table . We asked for the waiter who then came over and said yes the steak is rotten , Would we like something else . We asked for a Fillet instead and this came back raw , Never again .
We called for a late Monday lunch and decided to try the special mixed grill for two. It was absolutely delicious, including the unique magic smoke feature on the plate. The food was mouthwatering and I highly recommend this restaurant. The service was also excellent.
Visited on a Whim on Saturday afternoon restaurant was busy but the service was excellent ended up staying for over hours as the food and service was that good even had a dessert which is not like us

it is real quality eating and service the atmosphere is like being out of the country, forget that they are in royton!!!! good eating good service great atmosphere
We went for my dads birthday meal. There was people and the food and service was amazing. Would definitely recommend and we are going back soon.
Fab meal and excellent service. mixed grill was enormous, and really tasty, staff where polite and quick. We will visit again

came with two of my friends and shared the mix grill. beautiful cocktail bar top and great music, both old and new
Had a lovely meal with my partner. Service was good and the staff nice. Will definitely be coming back
