We visited here for dinner on a Sunday evening after shopping at Cabela's across the street. We started with sigara boregi (phyllo pastries stuffed with feta and deep fried) which were served hot were delicious! For entrees I had the Mixed grill kebobs (shish, donor, lamb adana, and chicken shish) that was a lot of meat, but awesome! All marinated perfectly and juicy. My wife had the Chef's Chicken Special, a saute' done in cream sauce that is superb comfort food. We topped off dinner by splitting a kunefe for dessert (an absolute must) and Turkish coffee. Wonderful food. Friendly, fast, helpful service and reasonable prices. What more can you ask for? We'll be back for sure!!
I visited for the first time last night....by far, THE BEST Mediterranean cuisine I've had in this area EVER! The restaurant is clean, well lit, great accoustics, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I started with the amazing hummus, and dipping bread that was fresh baked! The falafel was perfectly fried and flavorful. I had the Lamb Adana Kebab with Yogurt and every bite was melted heaven in my mouth, just full of flavor and freshness!! We ended with the Kunefe, and not surprised at all that it too was fantastic! I WILL be returning regularly to try everything on the menu!!!
We happened in by chance and were very pleasantly surprised! The staff was very welcoming and the chef definitely knew what he/she was doing with the lamb and chicken. Lentil soup and falafel was delicious! There were so many families there, it was nice to see. We will be back to try some other menu items and dessert!
One of the best finds in Avon... from food to service. We have never been welcome in a restaurant... Couple that with the amazing mixed grill with lamb, chicken and beef mixed appetizer plate along with our 4 years old favorite rice pudding. Customers for life!
