Excellent Italian Deli! Molto buono! The words come homemade, family and delightful when I think of Clemente Bakery. It is more than a deli because they have hot food, pastries, food, various types of bread, including Focaccia, and special dishes. They also make catering and special bread orders. This is a beautiful deli with many tables to dine in and enjoy your favorite Italian treats. This is a family business where you can see the entire family working together. The rest of the staff has been working there for many years. I lived in the area years ago and that was my favorite stop every day. Now I have to stay there every time I visit New Jersey. Clemente Bakery charges a service fee for paying with American Express credit card. There was no sign notification when I made my charge (perhaps they will put out a sign after this review) and only realized it when the amount I signed for was different than the amount the clerk told me was my order total. They list the credit card usage fee on the receipt as cash discount but if you add up the items and tax on the receipt you will see that it's not a discount at all, but a fee. Very sleazy. Food was ok, prices very high. I won't be back.
I recently visited Clemente for the first time while traveling from Virginia, and I have to say, it was incredible! They serve the best three-meat fresh mozzarella sandwich you can find on this side of the Atlantic. I also tried their homemade vodka sauce, and it was fantastic the next day with some penne pasta at home! I appreciate all the assistance and recommendations. I can't wait to come back!
well worth the 2 hours drive for me! we have eaten there lunch and have bought pasta, bread, sauce and naturally sweetness! I learned about clemente on tiktok and had to try it! had the opportunity to meet vita and she is so friendly and easy to speak. i highly recommend. we will return.

We always come here for our pizza dough when making homemade pizza—it’s delicious and still tastes great even after freezing. We’re also big fans of the bread and other baked goods. This place is a must-visit for us every time!
First time visitor. Impressive, well stocked bakery. Authentic Italian imported cold cuts and other items. Fresh delicious bread, mozzarella and prosciutto. Definitely will return. Friendly staff.
