When I was a child, my parents used to order from this restaurant at least twice a week. They had excellent sandwiches and pasta dishes. I recently revisited the restaurant after almost 20 years and the sandwiches are still the best around. The staff treats you like family. Parking is available alongside the railroad tracks or in front of the entrance. The service is for take-out only, and it is recommended for lunch. The price per person ranges from $1 to $10. The food, service, and atmosphere are all rated 5 stars. Recommended dishes include garlic knots, cheese steak, calamari, antipasto salad, prosciutto sandwich, and large pizza. I absolutely adore this restaurant! The food is consistently fresh and arrives hot when they say it's ready. The portions are generous and the prices are quite reasonable. Our go-to is usually the chicken dishes with a side of rice, vegetables, or pasta, all of which are delicious. However, we decided to mix it up and try the gyros this time, and they were outstanding! Additionally, the staff is incredibly friendly, which makes the take-out experience even more enjoyable.
We absolutely adore Italian Connection. Our top choices include the chicken tenders with honey mustard, chicken tender salad, lasagna, penne vodka, cheese fries with gravy, and spaghetti with meatballs (the meatballs are a bit pricey but totally worth it). The restaurant has new owners, and we hope the menu remains consistent. We recommend picking up your order as the delivery wait can be lengthy. Overall, we give the food a 5, service a 4, and atmosphere a 5.
We ordered the family meal and were impressed by the delicious variety of food! The pizza had a traditional and flavorful taste, the antipasto salad was fresh and delightful, the penne vodka was flavorful, and the garlic bread was authentic. It was a great value for the price! Great food, decent prices. Just a nice local Italian spot. I always do take out as it is kind of small inside but feels very local friendly inside. They have giant slices for $5 and I prefer their slices to their full pizzas. They also make great pasta dishes and sandwiches. We ordered six pizzas for our child's second birthday party at Italian Connection. They were very polite and accommodating, allowing us to pay upon pick-up and cutting the cake into 16 slices instead of 8. The crust, sauce, and toppings were all fresh and delicious. This will definitely be our go-to pizza place from now on.
