Well... where to begin?! On arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful, we sat at our table and they came over to take our order. We all chose our meals and enquired about halal meat for a member of our family. The waitress refused to ask the chef and made him choose a vegetarian dish. After this the 3 curries ordered came out with one rice but none of the sides (naans/pratha), approx. 5 minutes later 2 of the other meals came out and then a following 10 minutes our naan/Pratha by which time our curry’s were cold! At last the final meal arrived a good 15 minutes after everyone else’s and the service was appalling. It is a great shame as in previous visits we have highly rated this rest...

I have ben in this restaurant a few times in the past and I have been pleased with the food in general. However, the last time the food was disappointing. My chicken didn’t taste fresh and was hard to eat. The onion bakers weren’t bad but they looked like they have been reheated. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the food. It looked like there has been no care in the preparation. Unfortunately there are no other Indian restaurants around this area!

Don’t be deceived by the looks or the strange combination of Indian and Italian food under one roof. What might sound weird at first sight turns out to be a great opportunity especially when visiting with kids. While you can enjoy surprisingly authentic and delicious Indian dishes, kids are super happy with a huge choice of Pizza and Pasta. Everything was fresh and delicious and this was definitely not our last visit!

I knew this before going, any restaurant that offers 2 completely different cuisines must experience a watered-down effect, as you cannot do 2 things at the same time well, but as there are very few curry takeaways in central Portugal I tried the food anyway, it was not good at all. Espaço muito bom em pleno centro de Viseu, comida indiana espetacular, uma mistura de sabores explosiva na boca, divinal, muito bom. Recomendo vivamente !!!!

We had onion bhaji, lamb tikka masala, vegetable rice and chana masala with panna cotta for dessert. All very nice. Good service would come back.
