Located off the lobby of the Henry Jones Art Hotel, this cozy bar is a charming spot for a drink. Named after the original building owner and fruit preserves tycoon of the 1800s, Henry Jones, the bar is small with seating for about 12-15 people. However, you can also sit in the adjacent lobby after ordering at the bar. On Thursdays, there is a talented piano player, and live music on Fridays and Saturdays. The bar offers a nice wine list, local beers, and a few mixologists who create interesting cocktails. Overall, it's a warm and inviting spot for a relaxing evening drink.
I usually don't care for cocktail bars, but this one was an exception. The setting was lovely, the location was great, and they had exceptional drinks available. However, the true highlight was the bartender, Jackson - he truly stood out and made the night a great experience. I can't wait to visit again soon.
With one of the best bar tenders in Hobart this bar is a welcome relief from the cold. The variety of local Whiskey, Gin, Moonshine and other spirits was impressive as was the addition of many local Australian spirits.

This restaurant is a sophisticated choice for enjoying a cocktail, with amazing live musicians, skilled bartenders, and a beautiful building.
Great bar. Good to see craftsmen behind the bar who can make complicated cocktails from memory. My wife enjoyed her espresso martini.
