I only took a star off because of portion size and wait time. Aside from those two little issues, the food was really good and tasted fresh. The family had bowls of different types and were all happy with the flavor, but the one thing we all thought was that the portion sizes were a little on the small side, especially with the protein. There wasn?t much chicken or fajita meat on the bowls at all. What was there, though, was really tasty. They?re obviously a popular spot, so you can tell they seem to suffer a bit from small staff and small kitchen, because the wait times to get your food was about 30+ minutes after ordering. Bang Shrimp tacos from Izzy?s Island I could eat these EVERY day!! Haven?t tried their ice cream yet but I will. Going back for 2nds and 3rds and 4ths before I pack up and return home! Update: we tried their other tacos (steak, Greek, and chicken) and they were good but the Bang shrimp stood out in a class by itself. I ordered three as my last meal in New Smyrna. Nice little place to stop to get a good meal. Some indoor seating but mostly outdoor. Fresh delicious food and a really wide menu to please all. Amazing tacos in all kinds of varieties: pictured are an American, Greek, and Hawaiian taco. They are also able to make decent fries, which is a plus. Reasonable prices and everyone leaves happy.
