This restaurant offers outstanding all-American food with friendly and efficient service. The menu has a wide variety of options, and the selection of fun cocktails is excellent. The prices are very reasonable, making it a great choice for working individuals and families. The atmosphere gives off a cozy, down-home vibe that feels like a family gathering for a holiday meal any day of the week. Whenever I miss my loved ones who are no longer with us, I head to Fogarty's, where I am reminded of happier times. I've celebrated all my family events, from parties to christenings and graduations, there since they opened. We always choose Fogarty's for special occasions like Easter and Mother's Day....
Came here while visiting the NYC area. Very good food, friendly service, good price. It was nice to go out to a dinner for two and have a quality experience for less than $100.00 (including drinks! My wife loved the Spinach Salad with Salmon, and I was pleased by a tasty Shepherd's Pie. The restaurant also was very nicely put together with beautiful darkwood trim and moulding and backlit stained glass, but not dim or oppressive. One of the prettier places I've been in the NYC area. Our son just started college here, so we'll be back periodically over the next four years. I'll get a Guiness next time...
The atmosphere was pleasant, but the food was just okay—nothing to get excited about. My school held its end-of-term retirement party there, and although it was a Tuesday, someone called the police to complain about the DJ playing the music too loudly. Honestly, in a restaurant? That was really disappointing!
We went for Mother’s Day dinner. Luckily, parking wasn’t hard at dinnertime on a Sunday (I was surprised, normally the lot is terrible in Bronxville) Dinner was good and most importantly, my mom was happy lol. Mr. Fogarty and his staff helped host a surpise party for my Sister and 28 of her family and friends. They couldn't have done a better job! I highly recommend if your are looking for a place to host a party look no further, JC Fogarty's is the place.
What a lovely establishment. The staff is wonderful. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is beautiful. I attended a 90th birthday brunch there and had the absolute best time. Will definitely go there again
Only stopped by for a quick Guinness late on a Friday night. Small crowd. Typical Irish pub. Will be back to experience the atmosphere at a more reasonable time.
