I have lived in the area for several years, chioces are limited. I have been to J Dominick 's several times. The food is over prices and underwhelming. But like I said limited choices in pleasant valley . Mothers Day I placed a togo order, my fiancée went to pick it up after several awkward moments of being ignored he was finally able to get someones attention to only find out they canceled the order. they turned off their doordash . I called the restaurant after checking my card ....that had been processed, I spoke with a woman who blamed doordash, stated they dont even use doordash, this happens 5 times a week. No sorry, no apologies nothing. Just blamed door dash, and sometjing about nit...
My party arrived at 6pm on a Friday.The food was ok. WAY too much oil in the salad and on the special chicken I had. Prices too high for food quality.My party sat outside which was nice because it was a beautiful evening. The music on the patio was so loud that we had to shout to barely hear each other. Two requests to turn the music down got it to a level where we just had to listen very closely. As one person said, learn to read lips before you go. We were seated far from the speakers.Service was average.The chairs on the patio are very uncomfortable and not appropriate for dining seating.I doubt I will ever go back.
I don’t know why my review keeps getting removed but I went here for Mother’s Day Dinner. The short ribs tasted like pot roast and was all fat and grizzly . 2 of us couldn’t even eat it. The drinks took over 45 minutes to arrive and tasted like Virgin drinks because there was no alcohol in them. There is no kids menu so DO NOT go if you have children . I asked for a half a portion of pasta for my granddaughter and they said no. We sat over an hour before they took our order and the hostess said that’s a normal wait time. I do not recommend!
They close at 10. We came in at 8:52 and they wouldn 't seat us. They said they were closed because the kitchen closes at 9. Ridiculous!!! It wasn 't 9!In response to your reply: Ridiculous reply. You changed your hours to close at 9, after your hostess said We close at 10 . Doesn 't matter, it wasn 't 9!! I 've worked at many restaurants. Terrible service here, from the food, to the rude owner. To the horrible wait times to even get an appetizer. 2 hours to get our dinner for 3. What a shame. Also, the prices are high for the low quality of food. Chicken felt like rubber. Don’t recommend coming to this horrible place.
Consistent excellent service and good food.Laid back atmosphere and didn't mind us taking our time ordering and taking it slow.That said, if you take your time at your table, your gratuity should cover the time spent taking up your table.
Food was ok. Went for a 50th bday. Staff was very friendly. Place could do with some update inside looks very dated.Parking: Plenty of parking. Def no looking for spots.
