While vacationing in Tarpon Springs, Florida, my dad and I were on the lookout for a Key Lime pie to bring home. As soon as we walked into the shop, we were greeted by a delightful aroma. Everything looked fantastic, and the staff was very friendly. We ended up purchasing a Key Lime pie along with a dozen Key Lime cookies. Once we got home, we couldn't wait to try the cookies. They were moist and soft, yet they held together perfectly. We both agreed that they were among the best cookies we've ever tasted. We plan to go back before we leave to stock up on more. It's clear that they have a passion for what they do!
I didn't get one of their famous key lime pies (I'll wait until the next time I'm in the area with my wife for one of those) but the orange frosted and key lime frosted were incredible, while the chocolate chip ones were slightly above-average. Prices are sky-high but sometimes you really do get what you pay for, which in this case is delicious quality.
J.J. Gandy's truly deserves its reputation for having the best key lime cakes. I stopped by an hour before closing time today, right before Mother's Day, to pick up a few cakes. The gentleman behind the counter was kind enough to give me a complimentary box of cookies with "Mom" written on them. What a lovely gesture!
This restaurant features an extensive array of pies, such as cream pies, fruit pies, key lime pies, cheesecakes, and seasonal options. This was the best key lime pie I've ever had. It wasn't overly sweet and was perfectly creamy and flavorful. The muffins were outstanding too—two days later, they were still moist and delicious. The prices were very reasonable for everything. I really wish I had bought some cookies as well!
Greatest. Pies Bakery). Ever. If you give less than 5 stars, you must not actually be into desserts. We come here immediately once we get into town snowbirds) and it continues regularly up until the moment we leave. And we’re from Chicago one of the foodie capitals.
We ordered 20 dozen cookies from JJ Gandy for our Wedding Celebration Party at de Bine Brewing Co. Everyone loved them and there was not one left at the end of the day. We love JJ Gandy and supporting local Palm Harbor businesses!

Absolutely the very Best around. The Key limes pies are beyond delicious. They are so widely favored that they are famous! A must have when visiting Dunedin and nearby areas. Everyone loves JJ Gandys !
