The cafe didn't look the best visually as compared to most cafes I've been to in Brisbane but don't let its mediocre appearance mislead you. Jacaranda Coffee Lane stands out as a Asian fusion-inspired cafe that serves plenty of unique and original dishes. The presentations of our crab omelette ciabatta and Tasmanian scallops on sweet potato fritters were absolutely impeccable and looked amazing for cafe standard. Both didn't disappoint in taste, they were super delish. My friend feels that the matcha latte is a bit too sweet. As for my mocha, it was smooth and enough of chocolatey goodness. We took a walk to the West End from the city and found this quirky little café. The menu sounded so different and that’s what got our attention. The owner was super-friendly and welcomed us in and we found a table. All the food sounded so good I couldn’t decide what to have but we eventually chose and he went with the crab omelette and I had the grilled French brioche with bacon, but it wasn’t just brioche and bacon, there was more, it was accompanied by coffee mascarpone, honeycomb, fresh berries, berry coulis, mint leaves and salted caramel sauce. We are local to West End and we eat out a lot - we have tried breakfast pretty much everywhere in West End. There are many good options here. Jacaranda Cafe is the BEST place for Breakfast or Brunch. The menu is good, the prices are reasonable and the food is outstanding - it shows amazing attention to detail. They really know how to poach an egg and everything on the plate is better than good. We think the breakfast we just had was one of the best meals we have had anywhere for some time. A little piece of advice: if they have a special dish, get it ! Lovely food served by attentive and friendly staff! I came here with my sister for brunch and we were greeted warmly by staff. I ordered the Grilled French Brioche + cappuccino and my sister got the Crab Omelette. Coffee came out fast and was standard. The French toast was quite enjoyable and well balanced, not too sweet. Lovely little cafe situated in the heart of West End. I went here on a mother daughter date today and absolutely loved it. The staff were attentive and honestly very lovely and polite. We got the Haloumi, scrambelled eggs with Rye instead of Sourdough which was delicioys. Also gave us a complimentary fruit salad which was wonderful! Definitely recommend!
The staff were friendly. The food was tasty, very creative and nicely presented. I liked the haloumi, chutney and cheese cracker elements on my dish. My daughter quietly coloured in and ate with me. The restaurant was quiet when I went as it was a weekday and past lunch time (around 2:30) but I liked the quiet and space. I will be back.
Definitely a great experience, the service was great, the presentation was amazing. The crab omelette is definitely a must try dish and the mushroom pesto is amazing! A bit overpriced in my opinion, but the concept of the food was amazing, definitely one of the great brunch locations.

The food is incredible, and the service exceptional! Don't be fooled by the decore, the quality of the food is amazing one of the best places to eat brunch in Brisbane.
