casual eating in a casual environment. great place for lunch. it is busy so that reservations are recommended. service was wonderful. I had ordered a burger and asked for it to be done well because I was pregnant and didn't want to eat meat that was not cooked. when the burger came, it was still pink in the middle spoke to the waiter who got it back and got me another one who was well-doned. the manager also came by to apologize for what I thought was a great service. when the bill arrived, we noticed that my burger was composed. the waiter was to apologize for her chaos. as long as I didn't expect it. we left the waiter a nice big tipp.
Jack Astor's has very nice atmosphere to it once oyu walk in. the decor is great and the menu has variety! not to mention taste! my kids love it because they get so much out of it not just a meal, but colouring and pick a toy out of the toy chest and then get to keep the cups too!
The quality of your experience at this restaurant will depend on your choice of dish. I ordered a burger with jalapenos and found it to be too spicy for my taste. Next time, I will opt for the chicken fingers instead. However, I thoroughly enjoyed the peppercorn chicken pasta.
Went here for lunch a couple of weeks ago with two friends. The service was friendly, the food was okay but the portions were a little small for the price. I would go again but wish the prices were a little more reasonable.
I recently enjoyed a relaxing meal at this restaurant with a friendly atmosphere. The lunch menu was hearty and I tried the fajitas, which were filling and satisfying. Don't forget to try the Jack-up dish when you visit!
My children adore this restaurant because it's so much fun. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is relaxed. They are very accommodating to children, which is a big plus!
