Food was excellent, but the service was horrible. Went with a group of 8 at 5:30. It was not crowded when we arrived. We were ignored for 30 minutes. Several of us complained. New arrivals were waited on ahead of us. Finally, got our drink orders. Waited another half-hour for our food order. Only served half the table. Another table was served before us again, and we were told the order went in wrong and half our group was not served on time. Had to wait another 15-20 minutes for our meal. The food was excellent, but not worth the wait!
Impressive menu.Good beer selections.Friendly staff.Clean restaurant.Unfortunately I had bad luck with the Shepherd's Pie; it was very over seasoned with rosemary; and I like rosemary, but this was overkill...more isn't better. that is my only complaint with this place.Sadly I could only eat half, the other half was for the garbage. But, If you love rosemary, this is for you. ?The Steak Ale Pie was delicious!The fried banger on a stick onion rings were tasty appetizers!Something for everyone!Give them a try!
First time trying the Place. We were looking for a good spot that had Fish N Chips- food was amazing all the way around. Had Beer Battered Onion Rings and I tried the French Onion Soup, that was very good. My family and I all got the Fish and Chips!! Awesome, delicious ? staff was beyond friendly and helpful, definitely will go back and recommend to anyone. Even Pet friendly that have Doggy bowls for your fur ones ?? I thought that was cool....
This place is absolutely charming! We visited a while ago and found the fish and chips to be perfect. The only reason I'm not giving it a full five stars is that they forgot about us twice—once when we checked in and again after we were seated. They seemed to be quite understaffed during our visit, so I'm hoping that issue has been resolved. Food: 5/5

Great atmosphere and amazing food. My wife said the fish and chips is the best she has had. The breading on the fish was crispy but not overly oily, like it is at many restaurants. We also tried the steak ale pie and the lamb beef stew. Both were delicious.Food: 5/5

We enjoyed the best fish and chips we've ever had. Everyone in our group had a wonderful meal. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic British taste.
Absolutely amazing food. We had the shepherds pie, cheese burger, fish chips, bangers mash, onion rings, french onion soup, and beef wellingtons. ALL food was AMAZING and will be a repeat customer!!!!@Food: 5/5

Loved this place. The band was good and didn’t interfere with dining while the food was very good. Good times with good friends!
