EXCELLENT Chinese food. A bit priecey, and I am cheap, but let me tell you this, once you get your mean and see the portion size, you immediately realize the value. Only rice ive had that isnt a hard block on day 2, which is good because believe me you will have left overs. Trust a fat guy, and get the ginger beef. You're welcome. There is no dining in so I cant give you any points for atmosphere but the lady at the door (I'm assuming Jacky) is very friendly and helps bring this wonderful bounty to your car if your a little piggy like me and try to buy one of everything! You deserve to try this food.
Jacky's has consistently excellent food. We have tried a number of dishes and they are always fresh, not greasy, and the quantities are generous. The lemon chicken is especially amazing! The lemon sauce is actually a real lemon sauce, served separately. The sweet and sour dishes are also served with the sauces separate. Friendly and quick service. Highly recommend! Service: Take out
On our way home from vacation we decided to stay in Castlegar for the evening. We looked up the reviews for best Chinese food, and Jackie's did not disappoint! I love Chinese food and I can honestly say this may be the best and freshest, I have ever had! March 29, 2023 I ordered Barbecue Pork Chow Mein and it was delivered to my vehicle in less than 10 minutes. After making the 15 minute drive home it was still steaming hot. Withstand doubt it was one of the best Chow Mein I have ever tasted.

It was good in the past but they have changed by putting mostly celery as a vegetable in their house special chow mein, it’s too expensive for getting mostly celery as a vegetable in this dish.
