The food was great and the portions were huge--the 4-type pickle plate came in giant mason jars filled with pickled veggies and the biscuits are enormous--but everyone is seated together at long tables, crammed in side by side. It's very crowded, there's not much room to maneuver, and it's quite loud. The selection of music on Valentine's Day was great though, lots of 90s stuff. The loudness affects service, too, since the waiter brought me the wrong thing at first due to not being able to hear me properly. Then it took two tries to get the correct order out to the table. If they just didn't cram so many people into such a small space it would be a fantastic place to eat.
I booked a reservation for Valentine's Day with my boyfriend (all I could get was 4:45p and it was packed) At first they seated us at a communal table in the very back, uncomfortably sandwiched in the middle of a long table. We were initially not impressed or happy with the arrangements on what was supposed to be a romantic special night. But we asked the host if we could wait for the soonest private table and they were EXTREMELY accommodating! Even treated us to a round of drinks! Our night was completely turned around and we had an AMAZING experience! The service staff was extremely nice, and food even better!
came a few months back in the oktober with a few of my girls to the birthday of my sisters. that was amazing! the parts were huge and the restaurator itself was beautiful. the food was so good that we have eaten it recently. my sister and I decided to go back. I was very dissapointed. eating was not as big as we remembered it was average. something changed. the fried chicken was barely crispy. Maybe we came to a day, but they weren't busy. last time we had to wait two hours. we also went on a Saturday this day, this time we went on a normal Thursday afternoon.
So so so greasy. It was inedible. Shrimp Bacon Grits had so much grease, a layer floated on top of the grits. Fried pickles were smaller than shoestring fries. 95% breading. Like what happened to pickle quarters in fried pickles? Bf liked the patty Jacob's Patty Melt. Had to stop or I'd be running to the bathroom all night.

Came here with a party of 8 when some friends were visiting from out of town. They loved the high energy of the place and the delicious grits. I shared the pancake and chicken, it's enormous and yummy.
the restaurant is a charm, but eating is very hard, warned at all to me and there are no easy options in the menu! a pitty! but it was full as it was!
Everything was tasted good, but to call what I got Poutine was an affront to Canadians. Just call em cheese fries
came to dinner and cannot wait to get back to the brunch! great drinks. cool vibes. eat delicious.
