On Saturday 29th July I was there with 7 other friends. We all had been here before and always had enjoyed dining here BUT !!!!! last Saturday night we had the worse service ever. It started wnem we arrived. 4 of us arrived together, that was ok we were giving prawn crackers glasses for our drinks and water. Then our friends arrived. Left for 10 minutes no glasses no service.One of the gentlemen in our group went and asked for glasses. Orders were taken. Entrees/ soup arrived for 6 of the group. 5 minutes went by the other 2 hadn't arrived asked staff to bring them out. Another 10 minutes passed asked the young guy where were the missing entrees answer was "Coming coming" another 5 minutes p...
If you want comfort food and super friendly service then the Jade Princess certainly hits the mark. It is a cute local restaurant that probably hasnt had a facelift since it first opened. The menu is standard chinese fare but the quality is good, The staff who work here are absolutely beautiful and make you feel very welcome. I have been here twice now and the food was consistent. They have a reasonable wine list and are kid friendly. It is now our go-to for a cheap and friendly meal out.
We have eaten at the Jade Princess for over 10 years. The restraurant does not look much inside, but is always clean and the tables are not too close to each other. The quality of the food and service are the stars - this is why we keep coming back. Prices are very reasonable. It does a lot of takeaway orders, an indication of the customer demand. Recommend if you are after good Chinese food in the Berwick/Beaconsfield area.
Ate here with the family service a tad slow but it was Easter and we arrived unannounced so I'll cop that entrees were nice hot & fresh,mains were the same fresh & hot good size serves very enjoyable have had a lot worse Chinese before. This was the best Chinese/Thai food I have had in a very long time. The food was amazing, clean, fresh and delicious. Staff were very helpful and service was exceptional. It's a simple restaurant and a little noisey but the food makes up for that x10. Cannot say it enough. The food was amazing!!
Have eaten here & ordered take away for many years. Great service, good fresh food and a menu with plenty of variety. BYO available along with a reasonable licenced wine list. Always made to feel welcome and menu variations catered to without fuss. Always a relaxing and enjoyable night out.
I have visited on a couple of occasions. Whilst the food is ok, (feels heavy on MSG), it all just comes far too quickly. There's no way to relax and have an evening out, it's all over in 45 mins.

The food was excellent here. Totally enjoyed our meal, we did phone order and picked up, everything was ready when we got there. Reasonable price.
