Excellent Chinese food for Westchester. My family has been coming here for about a year. We've had the eggplant with shrimp, the kung pao chicken, and today I tried the Malaysian curry. We've never had a bad dish here. The food is great for Westchester, but not as good as some of the restaurants in Flushing. The kung pao chicken is unusual in that it comes in strips rather than the traditional cubed chicken pieces. We typically get the lunch specials, which are a great deal for Bronxville. I had high hopes for Jade Spoon. Overall, our takeout experience was ok. I'd recommend skipping the calamari. The portion was small, and the flavoring was hard to discern. I also found the spicy wontons to be a bit too chewy; the wrapper was thick and overcame any flavor there was with the filling. The scallion ginger with duck had a great flavor but not much duck, and the hunan triple had the opposite problem good flavor and proportions but barely spicy. Customer service is exceptional. Restaurant is super clean and good quality food. The spare ribs are definitely the best ribs at any Chinese restaurant. The wings were good but I still prefer the wings fried. The shrimp and broccoli is delicious but the rice is plain and lacking flavor. The general tso chicken is made with white meat. Really good but once again the rice isn't all that. Overall, my go to Chinese take out and will order again.

This is a great spot for takeout Chinese food in southern Westchester. The prices are fair, and the service is quick. I particularly loved the Szechuan beef, which was crispy and full of flavor, as well as the Hunan chicken and cold sesame noodles. The place is small, so I recommend it for takeout only. I’m looking forward to returning!
