This is a take out restaurant only (no indoor service) that we have been using for many years and they produce food that is good value and consistent quality. We usually order and then pick up the food although they do have delivery. For the value try the "Super Special Dinner for Four" at $26 (or $6.50 pp) you get 4 egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken balls, sweet and sour crispy won ton, beef chow mein, mixed vegetables, BBQ pork fried rice and fortune cookies (no substitutions but at that price it is understandable). They are located in the corner of a mall so parking is not an issue. An added bonus for us is that they do not add MSG to their dishes.
I used to only consider Jade's for my family when we wanted Chinese food in Stouffville. There was nowhere else nearly as good. The past two times we've ordered it, it's been terrible. The delivery took FOREVER (one time it took over 1.5 hours and they didn't even give a discount) and when we got the food it was soggy and cold. The food always used to be fresh, crispy, and delicious. Now it tastes old and bland. What a disappointment. I hope they find a way to turn it around, but it'll be a long time before I order from Jade's again. On another note, I ordered from China Garden in Stouffville today and it was fantastic! Fast, fresh and delicious.
We have ordered from this take-out for many,many years, however lately the food has been blahhhhh. We ordered General Tso Chicken, and got something totally different, When I called to mention this to the owner or whoever, I just got someone who couldn't speak English, and he said in broken English he would have someone call me back. When that " someone" called me back, his English was worse than the first guy, no resolution to our problem , just mayhem.DON"T BOTHER WITH THIS PLACE ANYMORE.Not good enough, and their standards have lowered.The original owners had fabulous food, but not anymore.
It is hard to find the words to describe just how bad the Chinese food was from this place. The General Tso Chicken was unlike any I've ever had and I say that in a very bad way. The Cantonese LoMein was bland and boring. The Won Ton Soup gad enormous chunks of bbq pork to the point it was in the way. The Chicken Chow Mein was bland and boring. Truly some of the worst Chinese food I've ever tasted. We will never ever try this place again.

Our favorite spot in town changed menus. Thought we would try Jade. Big mistake. Terrible ribs, chicken balls were all breading and the vegetables in the beef and brocolli were not even cooked. Even the rice was a disaster. We ended up throwing the left overs into the garbage. Even being greeted to give in our order it was like pulling teeth and the youngster at the cash didnt really seem too interested.
We had Jades last week, I cannot tell you how good it was. I think there are new owners, everything we ordered was superb, more than enough, great quality and such a reasonable price! The service is good, however the order taker may be a little hard to understand,lol, but all in all he gets your order right. I highly recommend this take-out! Excellent!
This place used to be great. Really fresh, top quality ingredients were used. the past couple of times, we notice the quality is slipping. We hope it is just a temporary thing as there is a need for good Chinese Food in this area.
It used to be good but since they hired a new cook 6 mnths ago IT IS GARBAGE! 2 pieces of chicken in our so called chicken dish all carrots! DO NOT WASTE

Used to be my favorite place for Chinese food in town The last couple of times we tried it was AWFUL!!!__Very little flavor.
First, I'd like to say that Jade's really does have good Chinese food.
