We stayed for one night. The setting and view are stunning. Wine list is excellent, offering bottles from a wide range of nearby producers from a good range of vintages. Dinner was good, and featured a couple of excellent dishes (a main course of various cuts of excellent lamb with aligot, a dessert based around vegetable granita and white chocolate mousse). Other dishes were good to excellent. The breadth of skills shown was perhaps a little narrower than the extreme high levels we found at a couple of other places in the region, but this is reflected in the price (and this would be a strong best restaurant in the area elsewhere). Strangest amuse gueule ever: Mixed fruit juice, vegan spread with bread and raw vegetable, baked stones ; this strange combination was overcome with a butter bread (75 butter, 25 wholemeal bread) this amuse gueule did not fit together, did not taste well at all and the butter bread was simply not eatable Soup and starter: Beetroot soup was nice; beef tartare was served on iced scrambled eggs with onions they should have offered the plain beef tartare, this would have tasted better Amuse bouche: Nice mini cakes with jam, but schnaps with cream was again not drinkable Ambience: Nice, but too hot inside Staff: Neither friendly nor unfriendly Resume: One of the worst dinner ever, will not come a...

Verbringen Sie einen wundervollen Samstagnachmittag mit hervorragendem Essen bei Sonnenschein und einer beruhigenden Aussicht auf die umliegenden Hügel und Weinberge. Ausgezeichnetes Abendessen, von authentischen steirischen Gerichten bis hin zu lokalem Meeresfrüchte-Sashimi. Ob steirisches Rind oder iberisches Schwein, alles hat hervorragend geschmeckt. Die Weinkarte bietet viele lokale Weingüter, bietet Ihnen aber auch die Möglichkeit, aus Weinen aus der ganzen Welt zu wählen. Wir kommen wieder!

Newly interpreted traditional Styrian cuisine. Fab ingredients, creative and tasty execution. Can't fail the service either. Worth a visit. Especially if you opt for the tasting menu with wine
