During my most recent visit, he asked if I wanted red or green salsa. When I requested both, he sighed in response. I would have appreciated a simple explanation like, "I'm sorry, ma'am, but it's noon and we need to save some for later," rather than his annoyed reaction.
On my first visit, I ordered a chicken torta, which was a bit dry and not made on the type of bread I'm accustomed to, but that’s understandable. The second time, I wanted a shrimp burrito, but they were out of that. Instead, I ordered a taco salad with chicken and extra salsa. I did enjoy the shell of the salad, but when I tried both the red and green salsas for spice, I found them lacking in heat.

Good service, excellent price, everything very clean. One of my fav spots in Benicia for tacos. Highly recommended, the asada tacos with some spicy chiles on the side is the perfect combo, oh don't forget the burritos. their meat is always the best,the asada tastes like asada, the pastor o cabeza, also top options. their salsas are classic Mexican tacos salsas, nothing outof the ordinary but they're a must otherwise tacos ain't tacos without the sauce. I'll be here every week. 100% recommend.
The food here is great, and the service is quick. I really appreciate how the dishes are seasoned—not spicy, but packed with a full range of flavors. The truck is situated in front of an industrial area, making it a bit tricky to spot until you're right in front of it, so be ready to make a U-turn. It gets quite busy during lunch hours, so be prepared for a bit of a wait. The menu is diverse and offers plenty of delicious options.
This place is a hidden gem in Vallejo! The staff, food, and drinks (especially the mangoñada margarita) are all outstanding! The atmosphere is vibrant, and the customers are a lot of fun as well. The restaurant is quite spacious, yet it still feels cozy inside, plus they have a patio perfect for those warm summer nights. If you're moving to town or just visiting, I highly recommend Jalapeños!

As near as I can tell, this ?restaurant? in Benicia does not exist. I have been through that complex several times at different days and times and never found a restaurant. I have spoken to an employee of one of the shops (he says it?s a food truck that comes weekdays. and there is certainly no ?dine in? as claimed. I tried at lunchtime today (Tuesday and again found no food available.
My husband's favorite Mexican restaurant when we are in town! We live out of state and this is my family's go to restaurant when meeting other family members or friends! Wait staff extremely friendly and provide great service! Food is delicious!!! Love taco Tuesday's.... Carnitas or Al pastor tacos are the best!!! We will be back!
The food was amazing! I ordered the fajitas, and the tortillas were incredibly good—freshly made and authentically tasty. The service was excellent as well; the staff was patient and friendly. The ambiance was pleasant too. I will definitely be returning. Thank you, Jalapeños Mexican Food!
The staff is excellent and the food is delicious. I haven't eaten here in a while. In the past, they used to have karaoke and live music on weekend nights.
