I have been using this takeaway for a very long time and it will be my last time. Ordered my food online to receive a confirmation phone call to be told it would be an hour wait, after an hour an 15 minutes the food still wasn’t ready after walking round to collect it, they told me they would deliver in 30 minutes, after they took my card payment, 50 minutes later my food still hadn’t arrived I called to be told they would deliver in 10 minutes, 20 minutes the food hadn’t arrived, I called back to be put on hold and to be told they couldn’t find my order, I asked for a refund they put me on hold, I ended up driving round to the shop for the man to tell me my order had been sitting waiting fo...
I have been getting takeaways from Jalsha for over 30 years. I have never had a bad meal in all that time. I don’t normally like Chicken Tikka Massala. I find it too sweet and sickly but from Jalsha it is lovely. I like their Chicken Korma as well. I normally get a Bombay or Sag Aloo with it and they are lovely too. I find that the Naan bread is good. I’ve had just a few Chicken Madras’ and have enjoyed them. I can’t speak for the other items on the menu. Obviously knew last night was going to be busy and placed our online order early at 6:30pm with a view of waiting at least a couple of hours for delivery being New Years Eve. Three phone calls later (first being 2 hours 15 mins after placing order) we received food at 9:45pm over 3 hours after placing order! Food was luke warm at best (my £12.00 king prawn dish was half congealed in tin), and received vegetable samosas instead of meat. Couldn’t be bothered to ring back as it was so late! Have been regular customer for years, ordered online and received a call to say order would be an 1 hour 10 mins, went round to collect I was told it would be another 30 minutes and my order would be delivered. after a further 45 minutes I called and was told another 10 minutes and food would be delivered. NO DELIVERY ARRIVED. I finally went back to the shop they denied all knowledge and the little man on the desk was so rude, he spoke about respect, disgusting liar. Don't use them. I have been a customer for over 5 years and always order at least once a week. The food is Superb and is cooked to perfection. Only downside is it takes time to cook, but the website says it takes 55-80 minutes to deliver, which means I have time to sort out the wine for the evening. I don't normally write reviews, but having seen some of the negative ones on here, I thought I would like to write a review to say thank you to Jalsha and all it's staff. Many thanks.
I could not believe it. It took an hour and a half to arrive. The food was stone cold and the order was wrong. When I called to complain the man was rude, unapologetic and basically called me a liar. It was for my son's birthday and he ended up putting it in the bin! Disgusting service and disgusting customer service. My advice is to order somewhere else.
The food was cold, the naan breads were burnt, the onion bhajis were overcooked and had the texture of shredded wheat cereal, and the chicken was rubbery. It was delivered cold and not up to the standards it used to be. I will not be ordering from here again.

This is the 2nd time we tried the Jalsha give it ago and again awful. Cauliflower Bhaji mush cooked in burnt oil. Chicken phatia Jalfrezi chicken dry. Peppers raw. Waste of money. DO NOT ORDER!
