Theee Best fried fish sandwich from similar establishments I've patronized. PERIOD!Parking: Good luck! Go with a driver. 1 if you hop out. The other hopes NYC's finest doesn't usher them on. Otherwise, sit there in FRONT of the bus stop near the parking garage like I did. Also, take your chances around the corner on Archer. Or, chance parking in the drug store prkg lot on Archer.GOOD LUCK!
I have not eaten in the restaurant portion of this place. I have purchased seafood to cook myself and some already made. Portions are good and prices are decent. It is seafood and that is not cheap. My favorite are the clams Spanish style. I also had a seafood boil in a bag with little clams some shrimp , squid and more vegetables than seafood so I wasn’t really happy with that purchase.
These people are racists, a fair skinned couple b4 me ordered $70 dollars worth of food, he and she paid when they're food was ready, I order after and was told to pay now. I ordered 15 dollars worth of food, he den tol me bye after I refuse to pay b4 I was given my food, fish smelled rank anyway and they never washed their hands since I was in there waiting, I DO NOT RECOMMEND
It's a literal fish market, with a counter for placing food orders. They walk right over to their fish and grab what they need to cook, it's all fresh. Absolutely delish.Dietary restrictions: It's fish. All seafood. They have chicken options on the menu, but you shouldn't go to a fish market and order chicken! Typical hood fish market. Old and dingy looking. I only order fried fish, which is hit or miss. Sometimes, it's soggy because they don't fry long enough.
The seafood is incredibly fresh, and the dishes are delicious. The service is friendly and attentive. I highly recommend trying the Mofongo!
