Not Impressed. Lady at the front is very rude. As I waited for her to take my order, she was arguing with what seemed to be a customer on the phone. Then she came to take my order. The food did not look appetizing, it looked very gross, so we decided just to order 3 patties and 3 drinks for myself, my husband, and daughter who were both standing with me. I saw the lady putting the 3 patties into one bag, which was fine. I just asked her to give me two additional bags so I could separate the patties. She had a major attitude, telling me I should have told her in the first place that I wanted them separate. It wasn't a big deal but Um.. do you not see three people standing here? Please get som...

Short woman serving customers at the front needs to be replaced. Caribbean restaurants come a dime a dozen in queens. No one wants their food served to them with bad energy. Been going here on and off for years. Lack of customer service and nasty attitudes are making you guys lose business... Read the reviews every other comment is about the nasty attitude. It literally felt as if this woman was going out her way to be a bit**, it was almost laughable only thing missing was the eye roll and finger snaps.
WORST restaurant in the neighborhood, I can go to get Chinese, Spanish, Fast food.....ANY kind of other food and I will pay less get more and be served even more FRIENDLY! They have NO respect here and if I did not go through issues with the amount of food for their extravagant prices, I have went through issues with them overcharging and double charging my card. I ONLY go because it's the most local Jamaican food to be but.....I AM DONE!!!
I ordered the delivery today. they were rated 4.5 stars on doordash, so I decided to give them an attempt. the delivery came in 30 minutes, which was a big plus. but eating was just terrible. I ordered the roasted chicken with rice and drowned and steamed cauliflower. the culinary chiefs of Jamaican ancestors would be ashamed of the inequality called Jamaican food. I choke the food in the can. What a waste!
very rude dame on the counter at 8:20 o'clock on Thursday, 24. february. she was rude to me and other customers and did not answer me when I asked how long would take order. do not move courteously and very deficiently/slowly and apparently in a bad mood. never eat from here. I used to have it, but it seems that new employees have no customer service skills. very frightening experience. I went out.
I come here once or twice in the week and have only experienced positive moods from those who work here. the baked salmon is delicious! I also like the stuffed ochs tails. these dishes for me are tasteful and not overly seasoned. if I don't feel good or the weather is cold, her chicken soup will hit the ground!
the banana porridge is always delicious and the brown stew chicken with white rice is very tasteful. besides eating the service was always exceptional.
Pretty good food here oxtails we’re good and lots of food for the money so it’s worth it for me definitely will have this place again
