As a New Yorker, I have to say that Jamaicavibes keeps disappointing me with every visit. Week after week, they raise the prices for oxtails on their menu, but the value just isn’t there. A large plate comes with only three pieces and a few knuckles, which barely have any meat. Charging $30 or more just because they serve oxtails doesn’t make Jamaicavibes an authentic Jamaican experience. Please, stop with these unreasonable prices!

There was a slight wait at Jamaicavibes, even though we ordered in advance. However, the food was absolutely worth it! It was delicious! My only critique is that the curry chicken was placed over my cabbage, which prevented me from fully enjoying it. Overall, a great menu and tasty food!

I absolutely love this place! The food is consistently excellent, and the owner is incredibly friendly. The cabbage is delicious, along with the oxtails, brown stew chicken, and jerk chicken.
The food was good overall. The mac and cheese could have been improved a bit, but everything else was great. The young lady who served me was really nice.
The yams were merely decent, the rice and peas were somewhat dry, and the coco bread didn't quite meet my expectations.
