Food: I enjoyed a sandwich loaded with ham, kielbasa, bacon, and lettuce, accompanied by a veggie-stuffed pita. Both the sandwich and the pita were exceptionally tasty!
Service: The staff was well-informed about the history of The Eatery and the menu. They were friendly and eager to assist.
Price: The prices are very reasonable! This is a far better choice for families compared to McDonald's.
Vegetarian Options: There are a couple of vegetarian choices, including The Highlander and a salad.
Parking: There is a parking lot behind the restaurant, as well as street parking available in front.
Kid-Friendliness: There are many options for kids, making it a family-friendly dining spot.
James Burke House is a quaint lunch-only place occupying a old brick home. The menu and specials are lunch-oriented, including mainly sandwiches and salads, and a few special dishes like quiche. Prices are very reasonable. Not elegant but the surroundings have a certain charm and the food was delicious. Definitely will return when I'm in the area around lunchtime.
On the other day on the way through the area stopped for lunch and had a wonderful meal. We don't live locally, but if we're ever back in the area, we'll be sure to stop. The service was very fast and our server was wonderful.

Excellent Mad Ann sandwich, corned beef, sauerkraut, guess it's their take on Ruben really good. Great ice tea.
Very impressed by this little eatery. I have the chicken salad meal and my plate was full of delicious dishes!
