My husband and I celebrated the 2024 New Year today. We chose this restaurant for a dinner party. It felt like returning to my hometown. I couldn’t believe that today I ate Hakka-style rice cakes and leek dumplings, which were given to me by the landlady. They were sweet, soft and glutinous. Rice cakes, haha, I’m a Hakka, and I haven’t had Hakka-style rice cake desserts since I came to the United States. I’m having a really happy New Year. Food is made with care. It is a very suitable place for dating, with a comfortable and comfortable dining environment.
Food is Very Good and the appetizer JH Signature Wings are amazing!! Meals are made to order. Good food takes time, and this comes to you piping hot. Well worth a wait for it to be prepared. We had the Bulgogi Beef (I asked for extra spice and the flavor was fantastic not overpowering) and the Panko Crusted Tenderloin which was tender, moist and perfect. We will be back to try more of the menu and get the wings again.
My son says that every thing was completely 5 stars. Wonderful food wonderful service. Vegetarian options: The crab Rangoon was meatless yummy. I had the Formosa Tofu Mezzanine it was delicious. Kid-friendliness: Very friendly to our son. He wants to go back.
Very good food. Only thing to be aware of is the way they serve. For a party of 4, there may be 15 minutes from the first person to the last person served, as each item is prepared by the one chef. Just know before going, enjoy the time.

The honey chicken is to die for. Generous serving with rice, broccoli and a few Rangoons. I always make it to James’ whenever I’m in Springfield and you should too! Support this great local establishment. Plus the owners are so sweet.

Food was amazing and generously priced! The owners were very friendly and the food was cooked to order. If you want to support local this is a great spot!

The food is all freshly made and delicious, the service is awesome and very very friendly.
If you mention 9 pm as closing time then do not ask customers to go back at 8.05.
