Do Yourself a Favor: Order the Mandoo. Trust Chloe and Jennifer Z: One thing that's for damn certain is the mandoo. It's fresh, homemade and absolutely delicious. The filling is well seasoned and they don't skimp the dumpling is huge. The dough, carrier of flavor which I feel is often overlooked in comparison to the filling is juicy, just the right thickness and delicious. Lost in translation and don't know what to order? Hell, just order the dumplings. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.<br/ <br/ The soondubu is consistent and well made. They did change owners recently and the last time I went, I felt that it lost a little bit of magic but it was still tasty. The egg which you should def...

Pricey, but Delicious. Jang Su Jang is a rather popular Korean restaurant here in Duluth. While they're primarily known for the tofu soup, I'd recommend stepping outside of that line and trying their other soups/stews off of their extensive menu-particularly the kalbi tang and yook gae jang. The seafood/beef soondubu is pretty good, but I'd stick with the soup rather than paying an additional $8 for the combo that comes with kalbi (majority of fat). Other than that though, service and decor are pretty up there-servers speak both English and Korean, are attentive and friendly. In terms of the decor, everything is larger than life-walls stacked with 100+ bowls on each side, large figurines as...

I ordered the kimchi jjigae, which is a chicken and kimchi tofu soup that had a bit of a spicy kick from the chili paste. It was good, but not my favorite. My top dish was definitely the Japchae noodles. I added some chili sauce to it, and I absolutely loved it. They also serve plenty of side dishes, which you can enjoy on their own or mix in with your meal, as I gathered from observing other diners. While I was enjoying my meal and scrolling through Facebook (as we often do when dining solo), one of my friends shared some handy Korean phrases, which I found quite useful. Here they are: - *dough chew say yoh*: more of whatever you point at - *mek jew doh chew say yoh*: more beer, please...

At JSJ, the soondubu is served bubbling in a stone bowl, and it’s incredibly fresh and hot—so much so that they provide you with an egg to boil right in the soup. I also really enjoy galbi (Korean ribs) and soondubu combos, and I found the $18 price to be quite reasonable. Unfortunately, the galbi was a bit disappointing, but the delicious soup and the variety of side dishes more than made up for it. I will definitely be returning! Apologies for the poor quality of the pictures! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Alright, so I'm finally one step closer to Madang—this is by far the best Korean restaurant I've discovered in Atlanta so far. Breakers offers a different experience with KBBQ, but here, the focus is on tofu soup, and most of the dishes are served cooked. I noticed all the great reviews and couldn't wait to check it out. I'm finally writing this review, although I've been here about five times already. After my first visit, we came back the very next day!

Highly recommend the King Beef short rib stew with the purple rice! It’s a great combination! We also ordered the seafood noodle, it tastes good as well.We have kids so we only ordered non-spicy options. My kids love it.The waitress is super friendly.Kid-friendliness: High chair availableParking: Plenty free parking in front of the restaurant

I had dolsot bibimbap and my husband had yook gae jang for the noodle experience. Awesome on both counts. The ban chan was 8 wonderful little dishes. Excellent!
