I can’t believe the food I ordered. It’s was a lie and I’m shock the moment I open he food I took home. I nearly drive back to ask a refund. I was just too tired to drive back. Never go back there again. I ordered udon soup noodles and sushi set, the noodles literally just noodles in soup. No vegetables or meat or anything at all in it. The sushi that I got they were so dry, the rice is so dry and hard. It’s like just old leftover rice. The sushi toppings were not fresh at all. I felt so cheated. Like I’m spending money eating their leftover food.
The food at this restaurant is excellent, with generous portions and reasonable prices. The staff was even kind enough to give us extra tempura as they were closing! In addition to their Japanese menu, they also offer Korean dishes for those looking to try something different. It's worth noting that they are open on Mondays and Tuesdays, unlike many other restaurants in the area.
I have had this takeaway many times now, and would totally recommend it. It is really authentic, and the taste takes your tastebuds straight to Japan. I love the tofu curry and tofu don, and the soba noodles are amazing. Also recommend the cheesy omelette (sounds odd but tastes yum). Hope you get the chance to try this takeaway and let’s keep this little restaurant in business.
This restaurant is a charming and delightful spot. The food is incredibly tasty with a wide variety of options, all at a great price. I particularly enjoy the restaurant's ambiance and aesthetic. This Japanese restaurant on the Gold Coast is hands down my favorite! The portions are huge, the owner and staff are kind, and you will never leave feeling hungry. The prices are also great. You will not be disappointed if you dine here.
Not sure what was in the gyoza as not like any I'd had before. Taste was very unusual and not great. Karage chicken was poor quality chicken and not crisp at all. Tempura was more like a deep fry than a light batter. Won't be back.
OMG! THAT WAS AMAZING!! Seriously good seafood Udon. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, awesome chill jazz beats, perfectly priced for the quality and size. This place is so good, I almost want to keep it to myself.
