The food was good. The atmosphere was nice, although the server forgot at least two of our items, including the oysters that we had ordered in the beginning. We had mentioned it to him multiple times and they still never came out. Our drinks and water were never refilled until we asked another server walking by. People around us got their oysters but not us. Other than that, the food was good, luckily the other server was taking care of our drink refills and clearing our table after he noticed we weren't getting served (hense the 3 star) because our primary server was not very good ....even though he was training another new server. His attention to detail was non-existent.
Went there two weeks ago and got extremely disappointed. We had to beg our server to pay attention! She was absent most of the time, didn't care to refill water, didn't care to ask if we wanted more food or drinks we ordered appetizers and kept the menus. She did not want to be there! We could have easily doubled our bill but that attitude was ridiculous. I worked in service for years and would have never treat my guests with such disrespect. Will not be back. Oysters were good though.
Traditional seafood served in sort of a non traditional way. Everything good, tasty with ample portions. Our waiter was completely inattentive to our timeliness of course delivery needs. From the end of the meal when we were asked about dessert we were left a full 25 minutes without any contact, and another 15 minutes after I asked the waiter if they offered any Birthday desert. He seemed oblivious to our table. That is what turns an ok dining experience into something other than ok.
Maybe we hit a bad night...but service was TERRIBLE!! Waitstaff greatly overworked- We had four folks, one dinner the food was so bad they apologized and took it off the check! The other 3 dinners were ok,but terrible overpriced- Mahi Mahi dish was ok but $38 for a 4 oz piece of fish???? Really???? Cannot recommend. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I love coming here! It makes me feel like I’m back on the East Coast… All I’m missing is the ocean water lapping at the shore in the distant view. The food is delicious and drinks are cold and refreshing. Staff are friendly and engaging. Their happy hour is, so worth it! I’m a regular!
We had a very enjoyable meal at JAX! We shared our food, which they separated in the kitchen, both the salad and the entree (scallops) were delicious, and the service from Rafi G was excellent. Thank you very much.
Always wonderful food and drinks and we just loved the live music! We met Aaron after he played and he was the best .. he even played a song for my mom that he never played before! My mom raved about the oysters!
We were celebrating two birthdays. Brian our server was absolutely amazing. We were seated immediately and our table had a great view. My husband loved the oyster wine pairing. It was a lovely evening Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
We had an extraordinary meal delivered by a fantastic server. We even met the chef who was very gracious. I can't say enough good about this restaurant! All seven of us loved it
