When you walk in the place it looks beautiful but beautiful can be deceiving. There are small white plates on every table. Be careful they're probably not clean. I seen one server was cleaning the table and put the dirty plates back on the table. I was sitting at another table and I could see food up underneath the plate. Another customer came in and sat down exactly wear those Dirty plates were. I made sure to tell them because I wouldn't want to be eating off of dirty plates. I would have felt bad if I didn't say something. Then I set there for about 30 minutes. Another customer came up and set at the table behind us. We had the same server. We had already ordered our food we were sitting...
2/12/22 We went on a double date here. I was a bit confused because I thought I made a reservation at the other Jay 's sushi and burger place. That place is closed (maybe temporarily? . We were seated down immediately. I 'm glad we made a reservation because it was packed in there, and wait time was around 40 minutes. We started with the pork belly nachos. It was good (it has onions for those who hate onions like me . I orderd the scottish roll, it was really good. We shared the tempura ice cream. It was delicious! As for their cocktails, I had the geisha. I wish they had description on the cocktails. I wasn 't really a fan of it. Yeah it was sweet but flavor was weird. Our waitress was nice...
Jordan was our Waitress, she was absolutely fantastic. Super kind. Super sweet. And to top off, she is super pretty ??.My hostess was funny as heck. Unfortunately I do not know her name. But 10/10.The entire restaurant was clean as heck! The people that worked there were all smiling and happy. Everyone said hey!The food came hot, cooked amazingly, presentation was on point. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.100% kudos to the manager on duty. They run a tip top restaurant. I’ll be back for sure! Probably twice this week alone!Kid-friendliness: They love kids! Super nice to mine and way more accommodating than most places.
I don't think the food is what is bringing my rating down I had the White tiger and the drum rolls and they were really delicious. 8/10 for the food. The problem is with the smell. There is something that makes the place smell like urine and it probably even affected the flavor of the food slightly for me. I feel if they found the source of this problem I would give it 5 stars for the service and food for what it is. I hope they can fix that.

I always look forward to visiting Jay's Kitchen when my husband surprises me with a dinner date! The food is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. I appreciate how encouraging they are about trying new specials, especially since I can be a bit picky, haha. The entire restaurant is beautiful, both inside and out. Overall, I would rate the food 4 out of 5.
Dined in for lunch... Had a decent light lunch... Erik was my server and he was fantastic... If you are in Goldsboro, I definitely recommend stopping off here to eat...I ordered food to go for my husband and grandson. They loved it!! Be sure to try the Bulgogi fries! They were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was peaceful, enhancing our overall experience. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and was happy to answer all our questions. I’ll definitely return to enjoy this place with my daughter, who adores Korean culture. Food: 5/5
