Dropped for lunch, BTW , it 's my 1st time here.Now, everyone will post their opinions and likes and dislikes.My dislikes, well, the waitress assumed I was finished and brought the check and laid it on the table. I asked, What if I wanted dessert? Now it 's almost 1500 hrs. It was not busy at all . What 's the rush ?Let me dive into the food review, blaaah. I had the lunch basket, onion rings calamari.I asked for cocktail sauce, OMG , Are they rationing it , I was given a small tub and believe me it was a small tub not enough to cover all my calamari.I should have gone with my first intuition Pinchers )Oh well, I tried here and most likely won 't be back
When we arrived, the young woman at the front desk checked us in but was not very friendly. We understood there would be a wait, but it felt longer than expected—about 20 minutes—despite many empty tables around us. We ordered crab rangoon, but there was no crab meat in it, just a gooey, sweet, creamy sauce (see picture). For my entrée, I specifically asked for it to be mild, but it arrived incredibly spicy. To make matters worse, our waitress didn't even check in on us to see how our meal was. We will definitely not be returning!
The server was great even though she forgot to put in our appetizer, but everything else not so much. I've never had food served in a tied plastic bag. The fact that it came out fairly quickly after it was ordered says to me that it was either pre cooked or at least par cooked.Shrimp were rubbery. I paid extra for the heads off but still had to peel the shells. The floor under the table was dirty with food.First and last time definitely was not worth the price of the meal.
My dad and I took my three kids out for dinner (two of whom are under three), and I was surprised to find an automatic 18% gratuity added to the bill. They mentioned that it applies to parties of more than five, but honestly, it's just two adults and a couple of kids—how much do they really eat? Also, the portion of snow crab was quite small. I’m currently in California for business and I have to say this place is far better than Boiling Crab, in my opinion. The Old Bay lemon pepper seasoning is all you need. Everything tastes fresh and is made to order. So far, my favorite dish has been the steamed oysters. The calamari could use a bit more seasoning, as it was a little bland, but overall, I definitely plan to become a regular here. Cheers!
Personally, I dont eat seafood but they have Cajun Fries and Chicken Tenders for those who dont like seafood. My family seemed to enjoy the food, the staff is super friendly, and the atmosphere is nice too. They have a turtle pond, but it does seem to be missing a basking area with a heat lamp.
The food here is great! Joe's Crab Shack is second rate fodder compared to this place. The service is excellent and the girls that work here are sweethearts. Food is quality. Flavors are explosive in your mouth. Can't say enough about this great place.
Our server was great. We had a party of 17 all by herself. She hustled and was on point. The food was fair and not very fresh. it's hard to mess up a boil. My apologies for not remembering our servers name, but you were fantastic. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I got the weekend special w| the juicy sauce and it was good. The only thing I would suggest is for the margarita drinks to be put in cocktail glass compared to a regular cup to make it look more presentable.
