Charming ambiance, engaging service, delicious food, very attentive staff from beginning to end. From first course to last, the plating, aesthetics, presentation, and taste of the food was excellent. The lighting, artwork, and downstairs location of the dining room made for a romantic and warm environment. The only off note was that a very large dinner party that utilized nearly half of the restaurant's capacity raised the noise level so loud that it was difficult to carry on an intimate conversation with one's dinner date at any other table.
The interior of the place really caught our attention. Its small but very homey with alot of history. The staff were great and super friendly. The food was excellent. We love the escargo and shrimp mango salad. My filet mignon was delicious but the sea bass stole the show. To cap it all, we had the signature grand marnier soufflé which was very light, fluffy and a good call for dessert. Our waiter Jaime made our first visit unforgettable. Next visit is in the works!
I write as one who lived in France for many years. This restaurant seemed like an approximate guess at what French dining should be. This guess made the experience feel artificial, staged, rather than authentic. Food was okay, not memorable, and the ambience is quite plainly a cliche of a French dining experience of a generation or so ago.
We are repeat dinners at Jeanne D'Arc. One of us is Vegan our waiter did his best working with the chef to create a vegan main dish. Our waiter suggested that before our next visit we call ahead to give the chef an opportunity to prepare a Vegan main dish. We will be back. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
This French restaurant is my favorite! The value is great and the food is absolutely delicious. The moment you walk in, the smell of butter is intoxicating.
We had a wonderful celebration for my daughter's birthday at this restaurant. They made it extra special and the food was fantastic!
