We get seated and it takes the waitress forever to come over. She acknowledges us and says she 'll be right there and we can see her having a whole 10 min. Conversation with another worker, then some men she knows get seated behind us and she rushes right over and starts their order and then ours. We didn 't say anything we let it slide even though she says to them gotta get their order( referring to us they were here first. She takes ours and pits them in and there 's comes up first, they eat say there goodbyes to her and leave. (Forgot to mention she did the side cheek kiss when she saw one of them when they got there. I like Jedis food. Tonight as I do once a week, I ordered for pickup. Unfortunately, my order was radically wrong. I spoke to the owner Tom, and asked me if I was close by. I responded I was, but I decided not to pick up again what I should've already have gotten. After my conversation with Tom, I also discovered the soup order was wrong, and their was no coleslaw. How hard can it be? These type of mistakes happen more often than they should. I'm sorry to write this review, but it's the way I feel. Tom offered to make good on the order, but I wanted to eat what I ordered today, not next time. Instead of asking me to if I'm close by, the corrected order should have been delivered to us. Toms...
IT'S A GREAT PLACE TO HAVE ANY OCCASION! THE SERVICE WAS EXCEPTIONAL GREAT! THE STAFF WERE THE GREATEST! THEY SHOWN MUCH LIVE AND PATIENCE! THEY MOVED IT OUT AND WERE ON TARGET! It felt real dated in both atmosphere and menu... Coffee was EXTRA strong, if that's what you like... Heads up! No flavored cream and No Splenda! Ordered 1/2 fried chicken dinner and Red Velvet cake. Chicken came with choice of potato, green peas fresh garden salad. Can't say enough good things about the food!
Hadn't been here in like 20 years, but glad to see they're still standing and thriving. Food is good, reasonable, but service lacking.
It is a wonderful restaurant and very relaxed atmosphere. Food was great, service was on point and drinks were great.
