I Was downtown for Caribana and I was looking for good Jamaican restaurant to get some dinner. I searched on Google and found this place. Came here and I had to park on the street. As soon I walked in the customer service was friendly I ordered 5 meals. 4 jerk and 1 bbq with rice and peas. They didn’t take long to get my order I paid and went home. My 1st mistake was not opening my food at the restaurant and checking it. They gave me 4 meals with rice and chicken but one meal just had rice no chicken. This restaurant is an excellent choice for fantastic Caribbean food without any unnecessary extras. I absolutely love their jerk chicken and rice dish. The servings are generous and the flavor of the meat and sauce is perfect. Sometimes I choose the fried chicken instead and it never disappoints. The restaurant is conveniently located in a central area, so there is usually a good crowd but it's not too crowded. Overall, it's a great place and definitely worth visiting!
really glad i have this spot close to home so that i can always get my fix of carribean food at basically any time of day/night. their portions are generous and well worth the price and they always have a wide selection. they also have the best coleslaw i've ever had, i always buy extra of it. it's sweet and creamy and goes so well with a spicier dish like the jerk chicken.
Unassuming place to grab jerk chicken and other caribbean goodies. My go to is a large jerk chicken with rice peas and coleslaw for $18 incl tax and it's good for at least 2 meals (for a petite gyal ; Service is always friendly, good proportion of chicken and rice; cole slaw is the perfect amount of creamy.
Not sure what to make of this restaurant, I ordered the curry roti got home and opened it to find jerk. Box was heavy but that was due to all the potatoes. Chicken was dry, beef patty was good, wouldn’t say I had a bad experience but also wouldn’t say it was a good one.
I hardly recommend this restaurant to get food later at night or early morning like 2 am I've been there twice a little drunk And the chicken is great the women working hard there are very kind. Thanks so much.
This restaurant serves the best jerk chicken in the city. The portions are generous, with just the right amount of spice and flavor.
