I made a reservation through OpenTable for 9:30 a.m. on a Sunday. After driving from Logan Airport in Boston to Newport, Rhode Island, I was looking forward to a meal since I hadn’t eaten since breakfast. However, when I arrived at the restaurant, the doors were locked, and I noticed a group of staff members having a party at one of the tables in the center of the restaurant. All the lights were on, and the televisions were playing, but the doors remained closed. No one answered when I knocked, and my calls went unanswered as well. we have fallen late and that was our first time here. everything was wonderful. the deep fried objects were very light and the unfried product was cleverly prepared. the beer list was extensive, but the rich was limited. they had neither a season on the hahn nor a collusion, but lagers and ipas were available. the decoration was the first guess. eight lines on large screens were great, the volume was not intrusive, and the interieur was inviting with a large rebuild. Finally, the stands were comfortable and the environment was very pleasant. much so that we returned the next night for dinner in the late night.
This is a great place to watch sports events with the plethora of TVs available including the 3 big wall units except on a Wednesday night when they show kid's movies. Our party of 2 gave enthusiastic thumbs up for the fish chips (batter not oily at all) and the bourbon dipped turkey tips. The food is consistent and the service is a little slow. Service has been that way since the place opened. The food was served piping hot.
This was our first visit to Jerry Remy's, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere with its towering TV screens, impressive lighting, and inviting layout. We ordered the prime rib and steak tips, and both were cooked to perfection. The beverage menu was quite extensive as well. It wasn't too crowded when we visited, so it might get busy during peak times, but we're looking forward to trying the outdoor deck this summer.

Disappointing. I've dined here many times and am always impressed with the consistency of the food. On this particular visit, the entrees/appetizers left much to be desired. Mango-habanero chicken wings lacked flavor (they were bland). The chicken Parmesan appetizer was short on chicken (one small piece) and heavy on the pasta. The fish and chips also tasted rather bland.
The restaurant canceled our reservation just two hours before our arrival because they closed at 6 PM on New Year's Eve. This was frustrating, especially since I had confirmed the reservation with them earlier in the afternoon. We won't be returning.
We went Saturday night for my birthday. There are a lot of screens but it is not noisy. Very open floor plan. Great waiter and we all enjoyed our food. There were a number of people there with their families. We would definitely go again.
Our 4th plans were cancelled so we headed to Remy's. Not crowded at 2:30. Ate outside. Weather was lovely, view was lovely, server was very friendly and food was good.

Calamari was terrible. Rubin sandwich was bland. Nice location and well decorated but the food was not good. Won't be going back.
Best restaurant to go to watch a sporting event! The main screen is huge. Very casual and service and food are very good.
