Today's customer service at the restaurant was terrible. I walked in first and there was no one in line, but no one approached me to take my order. Instead, the employees were all talking behind the counter. When a man and his son walked in behind me, the employees immediately asked them if they wanted to place an order. I tried to be patient and understanding. However, one of the employees then told me to go around as if I had cut the line. I explained that I had been waiting there first, but he insisted that I was in the wrong place in front of the cheese slicer. I would give this restaurant 0 stars if I could! Do not eat at the new Carrollton location! I used to come here faithfully 3-4 times a week, but on January 12, 2022, I ordered a chipotle sub that had burnt bread and mushrooms that I did not ask for. The usual employee who makes my sandwich was busy with another customer, so a different employee made my sandwich. He was rude and unprofessional when I asked him to remake my sandwich.
This place is not for me. I know A LOT of people who like the sandwiches here but I just prefer something else. Staff was friendly and cared when I said it was my first time. They let me take my time and made suggestions without irritation. Even as I am writing this I have raised the stars from 2 to 4. I thought food was just okay but you may not. This restaurant is superior to my nearby Jersey Mike's. Here, you can watch as your Philly cheesesteak is prepared, unlike at the location in my area 27106, where they make it out of view in the back.
I typically only write positive reviews to suggest good places. This Jersey Mike's is run by incredibly kind and hardworking individuals. I would highly recommend it. 100% satisfaction guaranteed.
